Character building is the overriding strategy we use to make each student a better person. At Brookes Westshore we believe character building is based on acquired skills; skills we can teach, monitor, and evaluate. We work with students to build their resilience – to be able to confront the challenges they may face and recover quickly. Students become better people when they learn how to listen actively, how to communicate effectively, and how to gain trust by building community. We create educational programs which build confidence and belief in our students’ own ability to forge their own path.
